DESCRIPTION
What an exceptional specimen! Fluorites from Orange River are very rare and hard to obtain - most times only ranked as rarity, but not really eye-candy. But here we have a completely exposed main crystal in intense yellow color with lustrous faces! The first photo shows the specimen under daylight. The second shot was done with minor back-light - here you can see violet zonings in the center of the crystal. The backside and part of the bottom consists of purple Fluorite, which was covered by yellow Fluorite - so with backlight you see the purple core. The third photo shows the specimen under artificial light, where it expose bright, vivid yellow. The last photo shows the specimen rotated to the side to give you a better idea of the assemble.
