DESCRIPTION

Around 2005 to 2010 various gem tracts produced some of the most impressive Spinel specimens. Brown, lavender and pink ones were more common, but blue and red were and still are the most rare colors for the mineral. The color of this one can compete with best ruby crystals! And it is complete, sharp terminated and shows exceptional luster. For red Spinel also the crystal size is remarkable. In contrast with the snowy white matrix this is pure eye-candy.
