DESCRIPTION

Except broken fragments - and even these are a very rare - it is more or less impossible to get an intense orange, sharp terminated and highly lustrous Scheelite from entire Alps. Rauris Valley is one of only a fist full localities, which ever produced crystals on this level of color and quality. During all my years as collector - and as a patriot I collect Austrian minerals since almost 40 years - I had not even 5 of this kind. An out-standing rarity in finest quality!
