Alpine Pyrites are generally rare. The areas is well known for clefts with pyrite - but crystals in this dimension are out-standing. Also many specimen are in a later stage of alteration, only a few specimen show such good luster in combination with partly iridiscent layer. The crystal is developed as floater and complete all around. Should be high ranked for the rare alpine locality, the dimension and the quality.
