Stilbite & Quartz (M880)
This is almost unique material. It was one exceptional discovery by Bruce Cairncross, which produced this material. An article about the locality, the minerals and the circumstances of the discovery was published in Rocks&Minerals magazine (July/August issue 2018). This is a mayor-piece for the discovery. The matrix are drusy quartz stalactites and on it you can see two generations of stilbite. The smaller crystals of first generation is almost white, the larger crystals of second generation is strong pink-orange. The specimen is in excellent condition all around and shows a very tri-dimensional assemble.
