Specimen from Santa Rosa are very rare and hard to obtain. This is a really fine matrix-specimen featuring an exposed Tourmaline crystals with very glossy faces and pyramidal end-points. Usually many crystals from Santa Rosa are very dark and need strong backlight. Not so here! I photographed the specimen just under daylight - the crystal is very translucent without internal cracks and without any repairs and fills.
