This is a wonderful, very translucent Liddicoatite. Many Liddicoatite are only opac or need intense back-light - so once more: the key to good quality is translucency. The outer zones show intense red color, the center shows strong yellow color and many steps between these colors. The interesting thing about this crystal - the habit. In fact it is not one crystal. When you look at the end-points you will see that there countless tiny steps. So these are hundreds of crystals which all grew together, and finally formed „one“ crystal. That´s very uncommon and makes this nice crystal really special.
