People always say that Jonas mine produced the very best Rubellites, also Madagascar and Malkhan is famous for them. And yes of course we also know good ones from Cruzeiro - but I really never saw something comparable to this color - I did one photo with just minor backlight, the other under daylight, the specimen was just standing on a white sheet of paper. And it´s crazy - it seems to glow from the inside even when it´s just lying in the box! The most remarkable color you can imagine - pink, purple, red. In union with luster and transparency a fanatstic specimen far above average and even far better than good specimen from the entire area.
