Fluorite on Calcite with Quartz (M016)

€0.00
sold out

One of the bet pieces I brought home from Sainte Marie 2022.. The Fluorite crystal shows the typical modification of rhomb and cube, the cubic faces are glossy, the rhombic faces consist of tiny sharp steps. All faces all around are lustrous! The cubic faces show dark purple zonings, the rhombic faces are lighter lavender color. The crystal is 37mm across. The intensity of color is much better than common material from Shangbao and also the crystal size is remarkable. This crystal is perched on well shaped color-less, milky Calcite crystals. Minor matrix is inter-grown to the Fluorite and covered with tiny sparkling Quartz crystals. Assemble and aesthetics are exceptional - all this Chinese material looks some kind of nice, but this one really stands out the crowd! In fine condition all around.
