DESCRIPTION

There is a small contact-zone between two geological shelfs - between Gutensteiner Limestone and Haselgebirge. Only in this small area and only directly where this two formations collide you can find small clefts with Fluorite. These open-pits are very rare and usually only a few meters in square. Most crystals ever found at these localities are around 5mm or smaller. This one is from a recent discovery and shows intense purple color! Back-side was on the rock.
