Sturmanite (M451)
South Africa

LOCATION
N'Chwaning III Mine, Kuruman, Kalahari manganese field, Northern Cape, South Africa
SIZE
40 x 40 x 17 mm
DESCRIPTION
A rare member of the Ettringite group, from N´chwaning III, RSA. Bright orange transparent Sturmanite crystal, sharp terminated and highly lustrous, showing hexagonal prismatic and pyramidal faces + pinacoid. This is a very rare habit, best color and best luster on heart-shaped matrix. So far the best I had of these pieces.
