The crystals are up to 40 mm on edges! This is a spectacular dimension for the Blanchard mining group - Sunshine 2 is one of 13 mines, which belong to Blanchard mines. The crystals show and incredible saturation - really a very strong  and intense blue with very thin purple zoning along the edges. The yeelow area is caused by minor intergrown quartz at the back-side. When I used minor backlight the interference of fluorite and quartz caused this yellow tones. In fact the fluorite is only dark intense blue. The size is out-standing for the locality and the intensity of color is for sure among the best you will ever see from this famous locality.
