DESCRIPTION

This is Choffatia (Grossouvria) evolutescens, order of Ammonitida - around 161 to 171 milion of years old (Dogger / Jurassic age)). This material is famous - a so called "Gold-Snail". This discovery was unique and material came in very low quantity. A great arity which came only one time. It shows a really Golden layer with iridiscent color tones. Complete all around and in excellent condition. This size is already out-standing, the piece is in superb condition all around and there are still fragments of the animal at the mouth of the chamber.
