I never saw such a large specimen with this absolutely fantastic translucency from this world-best locality for Epidote! The specimen is developed as floater, backside is not less attractive than front-display - all crystals are end pointed, sharp terminated and show exceptional luster; they look like polished! And even the bottom consists of tiny well shaped crystals. It only needs daylight to show the spectacular color and you can see the pleochroism very well. There is amazing dark green and vibrant red brown, and it always changes the color depending on the angle you look at it. Photos don´t do justice to this outstanding specimen - it is even much better in person. For sure a mayor piece for this famous locality.
