Schneeberg, Erzgebirge mountains, Saxony, Germany

7 x 6 x 4,5 cm

Here's a historic specimen from one of the most famous locatities in Germeny: Schneeberg. This area is know for it's rich finds of silver-, copper- and uranium-minerals. Even if the area was productive for hundreds of year, good specimens are rare. Especially silver and silver minerals belong to the classics from Schneeberg. This is an opportunity to obtain a fine specimen: it shows a perfect silver-wire on matrix with a lenght of approx. 2,5 - 3 cm lenght. At the end the silver is twisted like a knot and partly covered and intergrwon with quartz-crystals. A very interesting combination and a lot of details to explore. The specimen comes with the older label as well.
