Fluorite, Calcite (622)
LocationElmwood mine, Carthage, Tennessee, USA
Size6 x 5,5 x 3 cm
Here's a truely beautiful sample from Elmwood. The specimen might not be large, but it is in very good condition and it's showy. The Fluorite is developed as typically stepped crystals with max. 1,8 cm from tip to tip. The color varies from nearly colorless (smal crystals) to intensiv violet with fine phantoms. Have a look at this free standing main-crystal on top. It is absolutly perfect all around with a dark violet phantom inside! Both sides of this fine item are displayable.
